In 2019, Mr Jos finally turned his lifelong dream into reality by opening a vintage car museum in hopes of sharing his passion for vintage cars, and to keep Bali’s tourist attractions exciting and diversified.
Mr. Jos is currently the advisor for PerhimpunanPenggemar Mobil Kuno Indonesia(PPMKI) , ( the Association of Indonesian Old Car Fans ) in Bali, and is dedicated to preserving vintage cars beautifully while keeping communities strong and cohesive.
Kebon has over 100 vintage cars from all over the world on display, and the collection ranges from pre-war era cars to well-known automobile brands such as Chevrolet, Cadillac, Dodge, Pontiac, Morgan, Mercury, Plymouth, Hudson, Fiat, Mini Cooper, and many more.
Some historical cars in Indonesia are also featured, such as the Plymouth 1948, who’s original owner was Indonesia’s First Lady (Soekarno’s Wife) – Ibu Fatmawati.
The restoration team takes a lot of care and effort to restore and maintain each vehicle to near original specifications, and most of the cars are still operational. Visitors can rent them for their event needs.
It is our hope that our diverse collection will offer our audience a panoramic look into the rich automotive heritage that can be found nowhere else in Bali.
